walls

Isaiah 49:16 See, I have engraved you on the palms of my hands;  your walls are ever before me. What does God want me to see today? This passage is about the restoration of Israel, he tells them he has them engraved in the palms of his hands. What comes to your mind for you personally as you read the words of verse 16? What has God hand done for you and I? This last phrase reminds me of the walls we put up around ourselves and it also reminds me that God knows what they are. What walls do you have in your life?   I walked with a friend a few weeks ago and she had mentioned a book and a website where she took this test that showed where her walls were,  www.faithbreakthroughs.com  . It was an interesting test and the results for me were not surprising.  I am glad my walls are ever before him and he put a tool before me that confirmed then to me so I can surrender and let Him begin to take my wall down.      Isaiah 49:16 See, I have engraved you on the palms of my hands;  y

What things can I rely on? Isaiah 55:11

Isaiah 55:10-11 As the rain and the snow come down from heaven, and do not return to it without watering the earth and making it bud and flourish, so that it yields seed for the sower and bread for the eater, so is my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return empty but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it. What things in my life this week will not come back empty?  What things in my life this week  promise fulfillment for me?  Who's purpose do I live for? In a world that is busy and fast with to do lists overflowing I need to remember Isaiah 55:11 this week. Lets take time to be in the word and follow what God desires for us.  God promises it will not come back empty!

Good Morning! Exodus 34:2

Good Morning!  Exodus 34:2  says, "Be ready in the morning and present yourself to me!"   God told Moses not to take anyone with him.  I found myself asking, "Why didn't he want anyone to come with him?"  As I continued reading I came to verse four seeing how Moses carried the two stone tablets up to Mount Sinai early in the morning. I imagined Moses up before the sun rose carrying the new stone tablets up the mountain. I am pretty sure I would have said, "Too much work, I am not going."  Do you think he knew what would happen when he got to the top?  Do I know what encouragement I could be missing?  As I read verse 5  my heart is just pounding.  The Lord came down in the cloud and stood there with him!!  and proclaimed HIS NAME!!!!    Moses came with the tablets in his hands and God came and stood there with him.  WOW! My words on this page do not do justice to the amount of amazement and awe there is in these words in Exodus.  God proclaimed to
