I am still going through the song books and today I turned the page to, Holy Holy Holy. I put 2 links on here to bring you to the song on you tube. One for those who love hymns slow and reverent, and one for those who love to rock a bit to the music. I wonder if we sometimes get hung up on the type of music and miss the words of the song. After much searching on You Tube I discovered some songs are ONLY made to be quiet and reverent and holy but that second video shows some heart worship. It was inspiring to watch.
Holy Holy Holy, early in the morning my song shall rise to thee!
What is my song today? Is it one of hopelessness, is it in the valley or on the peak, is it just overflowing with joy or is it struggling to put a foot in motion? Did I start early in the morning raising my song and heart and voice to God? Did I roll over and say, "I have no song to sing?" Did I ask for His song because I didn't have one?
Holy Holy Holy Merciful and Mighty God in three persons - Blessed Trinity!
Where do I need God's mercy and who do I need to give it to today? Where have I seen Gods mighty hand at work? Where do I need to ask for His mighty hand in my life or the life of those around me? Do I know the 3 persons of the one triune God? Do I know God as my Father and Jesus as my Savior and the Holy Spirit as my guide and fruit giver?
Holy Holy Holy All the saints adore thee, casting down their golden crowns around the glassy sea!
Whose crown am I wearing? Is it my crown or His crown?
Holy Holy Holy though the darkness hide thee though the eye of sinful man they glory may not see. Only thou art holy there is non beside thee, perfect in power love and purity!!
How does the sin and darkness in my life hide the glory God wants to show me? Only He is holy, is He the one and only in my life? Is there anyone beside Him that is perfect in love power and purity?
No one but the Lord is perfect and holy! Lets praise Him for that today!! Who is He to you? What has He done for you?
