What is next?

This is our 6th memory verse already!

Week 1 we talked of the beginning where God created everything and said it was very good.

We then took on Genesis 3:1 Where Satan asked Eve if God really said they couldn't eat from "any" tree from the garden.

Week 3 brought us to Genesis 4:7 talking of sin crouching at our doors and it desires to have us but we need to master it.  This is the week we spoke of our need for a Savior because we can't master anything on our own.

Week 4 we traveled over to Romans 3:23 and learned we all have sinned and have fallen short of the glory of God.  There is a club we ALL belong to!

Week 5 We memorized Ephesians 2:8 For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith.

I sometimes get caught up on one thought when I write, and today I got stuck on Romans 3:23 and the fact that we all want to belong.  Whether we are in school wanting to belong or on the bleachers watching sports or at our jobs doing our jobs.    As I thought of the fact we have all fallen short and have sinned and fell short of the glory of God I realized we ARE ALL belong to a club already!  Some of us know it, and some of us don't, but we all belong to the club because of Adam and Eve.  As we looked at Ephesians 2:8 we realized we need Gods grace, we need faith.  How do we get grace? How do we get faith? Are they gifts?  Do we earn them?  Is there a need for repentance?  Do we assume we have Gods grace?

Acts 3:19 Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins many be wiped out, that times of refreshing may come from the Lord.

Does a time of refreshing mean God's grace is with us?  Does refreshing mean peace? What does repentance look like for me personally?  What does it mean to turn to God?  Where does refreshing come from?  Do I need to continually repent or just once?

As you read over verses and memorize Acts 3:19 let God speak to you and give you the answers you are looking for.  We have the best book with ALL the answers in and God loves to incline our ears and our hearts.  Will you and I open them...
